Chicane
‘Chicane’ is the alter-ego and pen name of Mark Winter, an award-winning New Zealand cartoonist, designer and filmmaker, currently living in a converted Greenwich cinema in South East London. For the past thirty years he has been practising his chicanery, twice being named New Zealand’s Cartoonist of the Year. His “Think In Ink” company has also collected a number of international awards for their innovative animated short films. Mark has a Master’s Degree with First Class Honours in Education and divides his time between contributing cartoons to New Zealand and UK based publications, teaching in central London schools and his position as Senior Creative at PIP Printing and Marketing in Mayfair.
