Luke Drodz
As a UK based fine art painter and illustrator Drozd's work is at turns absurd, humorous and satirical and absorbs its influences from all aspects of life from children's books to the media at large, from newspapers to modern art. Through this the work obtains a strong visual narrative that is designed to be instantly engaging and infused with a unique, unresolved and questioning nature. A Fine Art graduate of Leeds Metropolitan University and a practicing visual artist and illustrator currently living in Leeds with work having been shown on an international level. Recent shows have included reaching the finals of Celeste Painting Prize and commissions for Scotland's Six Cities Design Festival.
